There are rumors circulating online that before the wedding, Mommy Divine wanted a prenuptial agreement between Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli. Another rumor even emerged that she wanted for her daughter’s assets to be transferred to her before tying the knot.
In terms of showbiz career, we can say that Sarah is more successful than Matteo but it doesn’t matter for sure when you are in love especially now that they are husband and wife where what one owns is also own by the other and the success of one is also the success of the other.
But behind everything else, little did everyone know that Matteo is also from a rich clan from Cebu aside from his Italian roots. The Guidicelli family has a restaurant business known as Da Gianni in honor of his late grandfather with two branches, one in Cebu and one in Manila.
And now, let’s know about his roots from Cebu. His mother is Glenna from a wealthy and influential clan from Cebu. They are related to prominent names such as the Ledesmas. His grandfather is the late Cebu Provincial Prosecutor Vicente “Inting” Fernan, the cousin of former Senator and Chief Justice Marcelo Fernan.
He initially rose to fame as a kart racer. He attended both Cebu International School and Brent International School and got enrolled at Columbia College in Chicago, U.S.A. where he took up B.A. Performing Arts in the field of musical theatre.
Matteo and Sarah got married last February 20 where they have planned to be kept away from the public but unexpected events happened which is why the supposed secret Christian wedding got out to the public.
