In his latest vlog, he talked about something very close to the hearts of millions of Filipinos – gaming, particularly, “E-sports”.

E-sports have blown up exponentially in the past years, even more so in the Philippines. There are even Universities that offer an “E-sports” degree and the Philippines might be next to hop on this trend.

Marcos talked about the rise of the esports industry and how much revenue mobile gaming got last year – a whopping $49 Billion Dollars. In the Philippines, $459 Million dollars worth of revenue is being made each year.

E-sports had become so popular in the country with over 24.5 million active players each year. Following this, Marcos stated:

He admitted that it was the first time he played video games in a long long while. Marcos died a couple of times while playing, but who hasn’t?
