200 People In Massachusetts Quarantined For COVID-19 Symptoms
200 PEOPLE IN MASSACHUSETTS QUARANTINED – The global spread on the new coronavirus, COVID-19, still continues with an increasing number of cases every day.
South Korea had been the country with the largest number of coronavirus cases outside of China. The rising spike in cases prompted the government to place it under RED alert.
According to reports from WWLP, a news channel in the United States, there is still one confirmed case in Massachusetts left. However, that patient showed continued recovery.
In addition to this, health authorities stated that there is no “community-level spread” of the virus in Massachusetts. But, about 231 people in self-quarantine are being monitored for potential symptoms.
The people under isolation had a recent travel history to China. Meanwhile, 377 people have completed their quarantine and were released without symptoms.

In addition, the Public Health Commissioner stated that they are in constant communication with their colleagues throughout the health care system.
She emphasized that their supplies are adequate enough. In addition, members of the public were told not to wear face masks unless they are sick.
Bharel stated that the risk of contracting coronavirus is much less low than contracting influenza. As per the report, she added that Massachusetts residents should get flu shots if they have not already done so.
