PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration this February 25, 2020.
The bureau’s early morning forecast states that the easterlies will affecting the eastern portion of the country.
According to GMA, the easterlies will bring cloudy skies with rainshowers and thunderstorms over Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon.
The bureau warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila, as well as the rest of the country will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains due to localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides might also occur during severe thunderstorms.
As per the report, for the wind speed forecast, the eastern section of the country will have strong winds moving to the northeast direction with rough coastal waters.
Extreme Northern Luzon will have moderate to strong winds moving eastward with moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country will have moderate to strong winds moving east to northeastward with moderate to rough coastal waters.
