Watch Michael Jordan’s Emotional Speech At Kobe Bryant Memorial
MICHAEL JORDAN – NBA legend Michael Jordan delivered a tearful speech at Kobe Bryant’s memorial service.
The whole world mourns after hearing about the shocking death of the NBA great Kobe Bryant. He died in a helicopter crash with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna Byrant and seven others.
His wife Vanessa Bryant filed a wrongful death suit in Los Angeles Superior Court. She alleges in her complaint that the pilot failed to abort the flight though he’s aware of the cloudy conditions.
On Monday, mourners gather at the Staples Center to honor the lives of Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna Bryant. The memorial service was attended by basketball icons, famous artists, and his family.
Vanessa Bryant delivered a heartfelt eulogy to her loving husband and daughter. She shared emotional stories at the memorial service. She praised him for his devotion to their family.
“God knew they couldn’t be on this earth without each other… He had to bring them home to heaven together. May you both rest in peace and have fun in heaven until we meet again. We love you,” she said.
NBA legend Michael Jordan also remembered his “little brother” Kobe at the service. He gave one of the most powerful speeches that afternoon. He said, “when Kobe Bryant died, a piece of me died, and as I look in this arena, across the globe, a piece of you died.”
“I promise you, from this day forward, I will live with the memories and knowing that I had a little brother… I tried to help in every way I could. Please rest in peace, little brother,” he added.
The former Chicago Bulls star, Michael Jordan, shared stories about the close friendship he shared with the late basketball player with tears streaming down his face. Watch the video below:
