Vanessa Bryant’s Eulogy For Husband Kobe Bryant, Gianna Bryant
KOBE BRYANT – Vanessa Bryant delivered a heartfelt eulogy to Kobe Bryant and Gianna Bryant at their memorial service.
Last month, the world was shocked after hearing that the National Basketball Association (NBA) star Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash with his daughter Gianna Bryant and seven others.
The NBA great was reportedly on his way to a basketball game for his daughter when the crash happened. The helicopter went down in Calabasas, California, about 48 kilometers northwest of downtown Los Angeles.
In a previous article, Kobe Bryant’s wife Vanessa Bryant sued the owner of the chopper that crashed and killed her husband and daughter Gianna Bryant. She filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court. She accused the pilot of carelessness and negligence by flying in cloudy conditions.
Based on a report from NBA.com, Kobe Bryant’s memorial service took place in the downtown arena where he played for Los Angeles Lakers. The event was attended by Los Angeles’ basketball icon, athletes and thousands of his fans wearing his jersey of team colors. The service began with American singer Beyonce performing her songs “XO” and “Halo.”
During the memorial service of Kobe Bryant and Gianna Bryant on Monday, Vanessa Bryant delivered an emotional tribute to her loving husband and daughter. In her speech, she praised the NBA star’s devotion to their family. She membered her life with Kobe, Gianna and then eulogized her husband.
“God knew they couldn’t be on this Earth without each other… he had to bring them home to have them together. Babe, you take care of our Gigi,” she said.
