NCRPO Reports Muntinlupa Policeman Dies of Dengue

The National Capital Region Police Office reported that a Muntinlupa policeman dies of dengue during a field training program.

On Friday (February 21, 2020), NCRPO chief Police Major General Debold Sinas reported that Police Lieutenant Alioden Mangonday who was undergoing field training program at the Southern Police District died due to dengue.

Mangonday passed away around 2:30 a.m on Thursday (February 20, 2020) at the Asian Hospital. The cop died while being treated at the hospital after suffering from dengue fever secondary to severe pneumonia.

“His effort towards public service is highly recognized. The NCRPO mourns with his family in deep sympathy for losing a valued comrade in police service,” Sinas said.

Sinas also reminded the cops to be more vigilant of their surroundings and Mangonday’s death must serve as a reminder to be always mindful of their health and safety.

“Let us be vigilant of our surroundings and always be mindful of our safety as we perform our mandate at law enforcers,” Sinas added.
