Singer-actor Matteo Guidicelli reacts to the allegations that he punched the bodyguard of his wife Sarah Geronimo.
On February 20, Matteo and Sarah started to catch the attention of the online community because it was reported that a reliable source revealed that it is the day of their wedding. Many believed that it will happen while some were apprehensive since Sarah had a taping for The Voice Teens Philippines. This was confirmed on Friday, February 21.
However, there was a controversy that came along to what is supposed to be a good news. It is because the bodyguard of Sarah, Jerry Tamara, filed a blotter accusing Matteo of punching him. Allegedly, the actor accused Tamara of telling Mommy Divine Geronimo regarding the “secret wedding”.
Apparently, the mother of the Popstar Princess had no idea regarding the event and she asked if she can have a moment with her daughter. In spite of that, it was confirmed that the celebrity couple already tied the knot on the date that they really planned, 2/20/2020. Other details regarding the union are not yet revealed.
Based on the report of entertainment reporter MJ Felipe, as of press time, no case was filed yet against Matteo Guidicelli. On the other hand, on the follow-up report of reporter Mario Dumaual, the actor denied the allegations against him.
Through a text message, Matteo said that he did not punch anyone. He pointed out the it is more important to protect the people who love his wife. In the end, the actor said that he wants to believe, no matter what he went through, that love conquers all.
