On Thursday, Star Cinema announced that Kathryn Bernardo has another achievement. The Kapamilya actress finally received her ‘People of the Year’ award from People Asia. Based on a report from Star Cinema, the awarding ceremony was held last night.
The actress added this recognition in her long-list of awards after the success of her movie and becoming the reigning Box Office Queen of her generation. She came together with 15 other personalities.
“In 2018, this actress’ film The Hows of Us, was considered the highest-grossing film in local movie history with P805 million in revenues. That was until she broke her own record in 2019, with P881-million in box office receipts for Hello, Love, Goodbye… making this 23-year-old a reigning box office queen, in more ways than one!
