Here’s Video of Pia Wurtzbach Meeting Pinoy Basketball Phenom Kai Sotto At 2020 NBA All-Star Festivities
PIA WURTZBACH – Filipina-German beauty queen Pia Wurtzbach got the chance to meet up with Kai Sotto at the NBA All-Star festivities in Chicago.
The 7-foot2 basketball player Kai Sotto is a former Ateneo Blue Eaglet. The Filipino basketball phenom is the eldest son of the former basketball player Ervin Sotto.
Kai has been called ‘The Future of Asian Basketball’ and ‘The Next Yao Ming.’ Based on a report from Olympic Channel, the 16-year-old athlete is currently working with the National Basketball Association (NBA) coaches in Atlanta.
Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach got the chance to meet the Kai Sotto during the second day of the NBA All-Star 2020 activities in Chicago. In a previous article, the beauty queen announced that she will an insider on the festivities.
“I promise to work hard, like ‘The King’ LeBron James in posting highlights and results. I will be your eyes and ears on and off the court,” Pia said.
NBA Philippines shared several photos of the two celebrities’ meeting in Chicago. It came with a caption, “Our Rep to the Republika takes a selfie with the towering Pinoy basketball sensation.”
Pia Wurtzbach uploaded her own photos of her meet-up with the Filipino athlete. She described him as “already a pride of the Philippines.” The young basketball player taught some basketball fundamentals to the beauty queen before they sat down for a quick chat. Watch the video below:
