According to a report from NBC, the young girl named Annabel Wucinski had been under isolation at Rady Children’s Hospital. Following this, the hospital had been awaiting results for additional coronavirus tests.

Wucinski was one of the patients admitted to the hospital after returning from a trip to Wuhan, China. Her father, Frank Wucinski, stated that Annabel had a cough.

This led her father to get a check-up in the hospital. X-rays were performed as well as other virus testings, including a test for the Wuhan coronavirus.

Her test came back negative. The Father and daughter were then released from isolation after testing negative for the potentially deadly virus.

But, a week later, Annabel Wucinski was brought back to the hospital after showing additional symptoms. As per the report, the Doctor that conducted the test, Dr. Christopher Braden said he was confident in the first negative test results.

Meanwhile, there seemed to be some good news in China. Doctors have used the plasma from recovered patients to fight against the new coronavirus.

In addition to this, experiments showed that the antibodies were found to be effective in killing the new coronavirus. Three critically ill patients were the first to receive the experimental treatment in its first phase.

Currently, the plasma is being used to treat more than 10 critically ill patients. Clinical tests revealed that following a 12 to 24 hour period of treatment, the main inflammatory signs in the lab decreased significantly.
