DATA FACT – Here is a data fact about the Philippines that holds the record of 14 million people who are still single in life.
According to ABS-CBN Investigative and Research Group as 2015 Census of Population, there is at least 14.75 million people who are single in Philippines which is at estimated at 31% of the 58.63 million total population of the country. Most of these single people age 20 and above. The number of single men are higher than that of the women.
At Quezon City, the city which registered the largest number of people being single, has 581,651 people not taken, 348,260 in Manila, and 275,393 in Caloocan City as per the report.
As per the report from ABS-CBN, they asked someone who have been single for two years already regarding this matter. A certain Jauhn Villaruel expressed that he is not in a rush looking and to be with someone special. For the length it took without a partner, he got used to the feeling of having none and enjoyed it. He is also not even pressured.
Also, another one believes that Valentines Day is not just for couple but also a day to be extra for yourself, for friends, and family. This should not be solely the day to celebrate love as it should be celebrated everyday.
