Three-Vehicle Accident In Kalilangan, Bukidnon Left With Motorcycle Driver Dead
KALILANGAN – A highway accident involving three vehicles in Kalilangan town, Bukidnon, has left with one motorcycle driver dead.

According to SunStar, the motorcycle driver was identified as Kem Marnel Abaquita, who died on the spot after getting ran over by a cargo truck, driven by 59-year-old Leopoldo Almo.
Probe reports state that Abaquita was on high speed in order to overtake the cargo truck when he accidentally bumped into a motorcycle with sidecar that was driven by Adrian Balasa.
The impact made Abaquita lost his control over the motorcycle and fell down the road pavement. The truck then accidentally hit his arm and head, rendering him dead.
As per the report, Abaquita had no driver’s license and did not wear his helmet when the mishap happened.
The police further took custody of the truck and driver for possible case filing.
Bukidnon Police Provincial Office Director Colonel Roel Lami-ing said that he ordered the Kalilangan town police to strictly implement traffic laws and initiate random checkpoints in order to ensure safety of all road users.
“We are requesting the public to cooperate with the police for the attainment of a safe place to live, work and do business,”
