Julia had her showbiz comeback this year after more than a year of her hiatus. Just recently, the teaser of her upcoming series 24/7 was released. This ignited anticipation from her fans who have been waiting for her showbiz comeback. Julia’s last series before she took a break was Asintado with Paulo Avelino and Shaina Magdayao.
Meanwhile, Nadine Lustre, although she is now facing a conflict with Viva Artists Agency, still continues to do several projects. She was recently featured in Mega Magazine with ex-boyfriend James Reid. Nadine also did a TV commercial with Pambansang Bae Alden Richards for a tuna brand.
These two of the most popular actresses in this generation are set to team up in one TV series. ABS-CBN executive Deo Endrinal revealed this news on his recent Instagram post. He posted a photo showing the cast of the new Kapamilya series titled Burado.
The photo featured Julia Montes, Nadine Lustre, Zanjoe Marudo, Paulo Avelino, and Thai actor Denkhun Ngamnet. The TV executive wrote this in his caption: “The cast of Burado (Erased), the newest teleserye of ABS-CBN, to be shot in the Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia & India.”
Based on the other post of Endrinal, the new series will be shown on primetime slot. Other celebrities who are included in the cast are Raymond Bagatsing, Lotlot de Leon, Matet, McCoy de Leon, Javi Benitez, Ina Raymundo, Kokoy de Santos, Joko Diaz, Darnel Villaflor, Manny Palo, Angel Aquino, and Carmi Martin.
Because of this, the names of Nadine and Julia, along with their upcoming series Burado are among the top Twitter trends, as of the press time. This goes to show that fans are so happy to see the two actresses in one series.
