Based on the article of WOB, the doctor, known as Chen Jun, is the Deputy Director of the laboratory department in Wuhan Pulmonary Hospital and has been working there for 19 years. Chen said the lab team typically does two rounds of testing twice a day, with each round taking about 6 hours to complete.

Since they were near the virus, doctors must wear protective gear at all times, Chen’s hands gradually became red and severely swollen in hives from lack of exposure to the air. The condition is known as Erythema, where inflammation occurs due to increased blood flow to the capillaries.
