Sandara Park became emotional when she shared this part of her life
K-Pop star Sandara Park was emotional upon recalling a certain point of her life during the recent episode of her talk show in South Korea.
As many showbiz enthusiasts know, Sandara started her showbiz career in the Philippines through the Star Circle Quest, a talent search in the Kapamilya network. Through that she was able to do several TV shows and movies.
However, her career shifted when she became part of the K-Pop group 2NE1 that als obecame popular in the Philippines. Unfortunately, the group disbanded and that brought immense sadness to Sandara.
On the February 4 episode of the said show, she shared an emotional story that happened after the disbandment.
“I realized that I’d been very foolish about something. When we were promoting, I thought that I wasn’t necessary for the group, because the members all had such amazing voices. I thought, ‘If I sing more, then I’ll be a detriment to the group.’ So I couldn’t enjoy it,” she said, based on the article from PUSH.
She also shared that for two years she has become pessimistic in life and she also lost her confidence. When their stint as a group ended, she got worried what will happen to her next.
What was more devastating to was that she lost some of her friends when 2NE1 disbanded. Because of that, she was able to identify her true frineds.
“I think I experienced a very dark two years. But at some point, it became a good thing. I realized that the few friends who are still by my side are really my people.Because of that, I’m happy lately,” she said.
Sandara Park also shared that her former co-band member CL was the one who boosted her confidence. Then, she realized how happy she is in doing fan meetings alone that she did not feel before, based on the article.
