Connor was one of the first Britons to contract coronavirus in Wuhan around two months ago. Although Connor, originally from Llandudno, North Wales, was terrified he was going to die he refused to take antibiotics and medicine.

Mr. Reed added that the International Space of industrial was ‘disinterested’ when he urged them about his infection. He told The Sun: ‘They kept asking if I wanted a place on a flight out but I said no. I’ll stick it out here. I am proof coronavirus can be beaten.’

He added that there is now a little opportunity for residents to properly safeguard themselves, as there is no medicine or face masks available in pharmacies.

‘If you go out without a mask the police will arrest you,’ he added. ‘The authorities are really worried about how to contain this and stop it spreading.’

In just over a little over two days, the death toll for the new coronavirus that started in Wuhan, China had reached 361. Meanwhile, at least 16,600 cases of the virus had been confirmed.
