KOBE BRYANT – Los Angeles Lakers player Lebron James finally broke his silence following the death of his friend Kobe Bryant.
24-hours before the helicopter of the basketball superstar Kobe Bryan crashed in California on Sunday, he posted something about LeBron James who surpassed him in the NBA all-time scoring list. US investigators are still working to determine the cause of the crash that killed the retired player, his daughter Gianna, and 7 others.
The video of LeBron James exiting the Lakers team plane surfaced on the internet. It can be seen in the video that he was shocked and in grief following the tragic death of his friend.
Kobe Bryant and LeBron James are unarguably among the best basketball players in the world. After James retired, LeBron took on the task of bringing their team Los Angeles Lakers back in the spotlight. The two athletes have developed a close relationship in recent years.
It took LeBron more than a day to finally speak out publicly after Bryant died in a helicopter crash. He broke his silence on Monday, January 27 in an emotional Instagram post.
LeBron James promised to take the baton from Kobe and bring Los Angeles Lakers back to a place it hasn’t been since Kobe’s career. “I promise you I’ll continue your legacy man! You mean so much to us all here especially #LakerNation and it’s my responsibility to put this shit on my back and keep it going!!” he said.
