Filipino fans creates a mural of the NBA star Kobe Bryant along with his daughter on their covered court of tenement housing in Taguig City as a tribute.
In our previous reports, The NBA icon and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna Bryant died in a helicopter crash on early Monday (Manila time). They were reportedly on their way to Mamba Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks, California.
The helicopter crashed near Las Virgenes Road and Willow Glen Street in Calabasas, California. Reports said that there were no survivors on the said crash.
Famous personalities, NBA stars and people around the globe who have witnessed his greatness have paid tribute to the late Los Angeles Lakers player Kobe Bryant. They expressed their shock and sadness at his sudden death.
Based on the article of GMA News, Pinoy fans of the late NBA star Kobe Bryant, residents of Taguig City have created a special mural at a covered court of their tenement housing as a tribute following his tragic death in a helicopter crash in California.
The artists created the mural to pay homage to Bryant and his daughter Gianna, who was also killed in the incident. They said it took them a whole day to paint the mural.
“Nagbibigay tribute, nagbibigay respeto at pagmamahal para sa isang extraordinary, one of a kind athlete, arguably the best to ever play the game of basketball, Kobe Bryant,” said Mike Swift, who is also known as Mr. Pinoy Hoops.
“Gusto namin maalala yung mga memories about kay Kobe. Siyempre mahal ng mga Pilipino si Kobe Bryant,” said another fan, Keno Alcantara, who considers Bryant his idol.
