Claudine Barretto is not satisfied of her mini bus from Hyundai
Optimum Star Claudine Barretto expressed her complain against Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) of billionaire Richard Lee through her recent Instagram post.
The actress said in her post that she already complained about this but she did not receive any response. “To Hyundai Philippines, I bought an H350 just late last year and it turned out that the van you gave us is a lemon car. We tried to reach out , complained, etc. Most especially, we wanted to have mine replaced since we were promised that it might be replaced,” Claudine wrote.
She added that her aunt bought the same van and the difference is much noticeable. The actress also expressed hope that the problem will be fixed immediately. However, Claudine did not specify the problem of her new van ang how many times she went to casa to complain.
Based on the article from bilyonaryo.com, the newly-bought vehicle of the Optimum Star is a 14-seater mini van worth P2.8 million. It was also said that under “Republic Act No. 10642, a buyer of a vehicle can invoke the Lemon Law rights within the 12 months of acquisition or the first 20,000 kilometers of operation but only after at least four (4) separate repair attempts have been made and the issue remained unresolved.”

“I also bought a delivery van from hyundai Shaw and in 6 months the clutch burned! I complained and filed a case against them in DTI. They agreed to fix and replace . In a few months the clutch burned again. So far in less than two years ice changed the clutch four times . It’s crazy!!! I will never buy a hyundai again!
