Transportation from Wuhan, China Temporarily Stopped Amid Coronavirus Outbreak

CHINA – The transportation from Wuhan City was cancelled amid the outbreak of the coronavirus in the city.

Currently, a lot of countries are taking precautionary measures as a certain disease, the coronavirus, is spreading. It was initially reported in Wuhan City in China where there are now hundreds of patients in just a few days since it was first reported.

The said virus which is characterized by flu-like symptoms spread rapidly and has even reached other countries. In the Philippines, a child was diagnosed with coronavirus.

Reportedly, the said child who came from Wuhan City is currently being treated. According to Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Francisco Duque, it was a non-specific virus that affected the child.

Aside from the child, three (3) other people were initially suspected to be affected by coronavirus. However, after some investigation, they were released.

Currently, the quarantine in airports are on full alert amid the spread of the coronavirus. Most people also wear masks when they are traveling.

Based on a recent report on ABS-CBN News, the transportation from Wuhan City, China now has already been cancelled. A flight from Beijing Capital International Airport was also postponed.

China decided to close Wuhan to combat the spread of coronavirus. More than eleven (11) million people are living in the city. The are also advised not to go for public gatherings amid the outbreak of the disease.

As of this writing, there are still no other details regarding the matter. More updates may be posted soon.
