Calamity Victims Criticize Faculties Tasked To Distribute Relief Goods for Taking Selfie First Before Performing Their Job
The calamity victims expressed their disappointment towards faculties who were tasked to distribute relief goods saying “Inuna niyo pa selfie”.
Last week, Taal Volcano became the headlines of several local news outlets and social media pages after its unexpected eruption. The phreatic eruption belches ashes, small stones, and other volcanic materials.
Taal’s eruption causes damage to numerous houses, establishments, and properties in the affected areas. Thousands of residents in Batangas, Tagaytay, and Cavite were forced to leave their homes due to Taal’s ongoing eruption.
The residents proceed and temporarily take shelter in evacuation centers due to Taal’s activity. Most of them usually rely on relief goods distributed by good-hearted donors and local government units.
Recently, the Facebook page “Even Demata” has shared the video posted by Angie Chavez showing the disappointed calamity victims criticizing the faculties tasked to distribute relief goods.
In the video, it can be seen that the victims were expressing their disappointment against some faculties responsible for the distribution of relief goods after taking selfies first before performing their job.

“Kayo na ang bahalang humusga
Pumila ang mga biktima ng
kalamidad mula umaga, hindi pa nag-aalmusal, umaasang may makukuhang relief
goods mula sa mabubuting pusong nagdo-donate, inabot ng 4 na oras sa
napakahabang pila, pero ni isang boteng tubig na inumin walang nakuha!
Inuna pa ng mga ito ang mag-picture taking, selfie pa more mga kakabayan ang
peg… nung nagsigawan na ang mga tao dahil katagal di nausad ang pila saka
sasabihin wala na maipamamahagi!
Tama nga naman na unahin nyo pa mag-picture taking?! Kundi pa
magsigawan di sasabihin wala na pala maibibigay.. at bakit hindi nyo ianunsyo
ng maayos, siguro naman meron jan megaphone na pwede nyo gamitin para marinig
ng lahat at hindi masayang ang oras, pagod, at pamasahe ng mga nagsipunta jan.
