Viral Post of Taal Evacuee Over A Police Issuing them Violation Ticket
TAAL EVACUEE – A post of a netizen affected by the Taal Volcano eruption went viral after he narrated how they’re issued a violation ticket by the police.
One of the huge natural calamity that recently took place in the Philippines was the eruption of the Taal Volcano. A lot of people were affected by the said incident.
Several families had to leave their households and source of living for their safety. The residents living near the volcano were asked to evacuate due to the risks it may further cause.
Many people had no time to really pack up their things. A lot were emotional as well as they had to leave their properties behind with no assurance if they still have something to come back to.
Amid the ongoing tension and monitoring of the Taal Volcano, a post of Taal evacuee went viral on social media. Allegedly, they were issued a violation ticket when they went out to buy a few things they need.
The netizen posted about his alleged experience in the Facebook account “Arci Drxs Rys”. They were aboard a tricycle. According to the netizen, on their way home, they saw a checkpoint but they did not stop.
The netizen further claimed that they were stopped by a police and was asked where they came from. The brother of the netizen allegedly presented his driver’s license to the authority.
However, according to the Taal evacuee, it seems that the police was not believing them when they told him that they are among the evacuees. He told them that they passed on a one-way road.
The netizen reasoned out that they did not know that it is a one-way road as there was no moving vehicles. The police handed the driver’s license to another cop who issued the Taal evacuee’s camp a violation ticket.
The reason for the ticket stated in the ticket was the driver’s act of wearing slippers while driving. The evacuees pleaded to the authorities but no attention was allegedly given to them.
According to the netizen, they understand the job of the police authorities but they must also consider certain situations. In the Facebook post, he stressed that what happened made him feel the big challenge they went through when the volcano erupted.
