Taal Evacuees Shows Off Clothes From Donation
TAAL EVACUEES – The Taal evacuees showed off the glamorous clothes they received from donations.
The resident who lives near the crater of Taal volcano were forced to flee their homes after it erupted on Sunday, January 12. Thousand of families and individuals are currently staying at evacuation sites.
Their fellowmen are quick to provide some aid to the victims. They have received donations from the government and private sectors. Celebrities including Judy Ann Santos, Angel Locsin, and Matteo Guidicelli have lent a helping hand to the evacuees.
Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has declared the island as ‘no man’s land.’ In a previous article, the resident said they are ready to leave the island for good.
Recently, photos of the evacuees in Taal wearing the clothes from donations emerged on the internet. The hilarious photos were uploaded on ‘We Love Philippines’ Facebook Page.
In the caption of the post, it wrote: “PORMAHAN SA EVACUATION CENTER SA BATANGAS Narito ang ilang mga nakakatuwang pormahan ng mga evacuees sa Batangas. Happy lang!”
Filipinos can always find humor while in a difficult situation. They are the kind of people who will seize the opportunity to escape though situations in life even if for a few seconds.
Among the clothes donated to the evacuees are school uniforms, uniforms from various jobs like nurses and security guards. Someone also donated a formal outfit and dance costume.
