Moreover, still in Alert Level 4, ‘hazardous’ eruption remains possible.

Aside from the resident being rescued, animal too are. And on Wednesday morning, three animal rescuers of the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) Asia got trapped in Taal Island after returning to save animals which got abandoned by their owner due to the crisis brought by the eruption.
Executive director of the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) Anna Cabrera said, “Yung tatlong tao po nang isang organization they are there, na- trap po sa Taal Island mismo. I think they were trying to rescue the animals pero naiwan po sila kung sino man po ‘yung nagdala sa kanila doon.”
She has asked the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) to save and rescue the three rescuers who got stranded in the island after they were left behind. She furthered, “Ngayon lang po sila tumawag sa akin. Kaninang umaga lang sila nagpunta, tinawagan ako kasi iniwan sila po nung nagdala sa kanila doon. Kinuha po yung mga baka, iniwan po yata sila.”
