Motorcycle Riders Bring Relief To Families Displaced By Taal Volcano Eruption
TAAL VOLCANO – On Tuesday, motorcycle riders brought relief goods to the families and individuals affected by the Taal volcano eruption.
Filipino people are stepping up to help the communities affected by the Taal volcano eruption. The second most active volcano in the country erupted on January 12.
Some of them give away masks to their fellowmen while some delivered relief goods and food packs to the evacuees. The people living near the Taal lake are forced to leave their houses due to continuous quakes.
In a previous article, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in Bicol donated P1.5 million worth of food packs for the evacuees in Batangas. The packs contained six (6) kilos of rice, coffee, corned beef, and sardines.
Vice President Leni Robredo has also distributed food packs and visited the communities affected by the Taal eruption on Tuesday.
A Facebook user named Jin Dinglasan shared several photos of Angkas riders delivering relief goods for the affected families and individuals. The netizen said he had a conversation with one of the riders. The rider said they are going to Tagaytay to give some help.
The motorcycle riders brought water, face mask, medicines, and biscuits. Despite the unfavorable weather condition, they transported the goods to their fellowmen. The netizen praised the riders for their initiative to help the people affected by the Taal volcano eruption.
