Photo Of Matanao Town Treasurer’s Office Employees Working Under The Tent
MATANAO TOWN – The employees who work under the treasurer’s office in Matanao Town in the province of Davao Del Sur are working under the tent.
It has been remembered that a 6.9 magnitude earthquake struck Davao Del Sur on December 15, 2019 (Sunday). This is, by far, one of the strongest tremors ever recorded by theAccording to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
The earthquake’s epicenter was located at 06.80°N, 125.20°E – 009 km N 28° W of the municipal of Matanao, Davao Del Sur.
It is also reported that despite suffering many damages, people continued to work and live, proving the the heart of Filipinos will not falter.
Such was the case of parlor staffs who continued to offer their service to their customers outside. Instead of panicking, they simply continued their work despite the dire situation.
Another example was a photo posted by the Facebook page of Mindanao Times. The photo contained what seems to be the temporary office of the Matanao Municipal Treasurer’s Office.
According to the photo caption, the employees who worked at the said office held their office under the tent because their municipal hall sustained damage from the aforementioned tremor.
