Authorities Arrest Public School Teacher During Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Laoag City
PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHER – A teacher was arrested by the authorities during a drug buy-bust operation in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.
The government’s campaign against illegal drugs continues and has been strengthened more. One of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte‘s promises is to clean the Philippines from its presence.

Every day, drug buy-bust operations are happening in the different areas in the Philippines. They are usually conducted by the joint forces of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
Recently, another drug buy-bust operation was conducted in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, a public school teacher was arrested during the operation.
The teacher, alyas “Hill”, is allegedly the top five (5) in the list of the top drug personalities in the province. Eleven (11) sachets of suspected illegal substance were seized from him.
Based on the report, the said teacher have surrendered to the authorities before. Police Chief Master Sergeant Harold Nicolas expressed that he has wide coverage of his operation because of the “accessibility” of his profession.
“Dahil dun sa profession niya and doon sa trabaho niya sa pagmamake-up, fashion designer so sa buong province kaya niyang operasyon niya,” Nicolas said.
The public school teacher denied the drug allegations. He did not agree for an interview. He is currently facing charges over the allegations.
