Albay 2nd District Rep. Joey Sarte Salceda earlier revealed that DOTr Secretary Arthur has promised the completion of the airport in 2020.

“You restored my faith in our future,” Salceda told Tugade.

During their meeting in Clark, Salceda informed Tugade that currently Albay is No. 4 in domestic tourism arrivals. With the new airport in place, it would surely increase its number as it reaches the Albay-Masbate-Sorsogon traffic.
