Here Is The List Of Closed Roads For The Black Nazarene Processions
LIST: CLOSED ROADS – The Manila Police District Traffic Enforcement Unit will enforce road closures and rerouting this Tuesday afternoon.
This is for the procession and blessing of the Black Nazarene replicas. The procession and blessing would begin on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. two days before the translacion.
Due to the high volume of devotees of the Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno, the traffic unit of Manila stated that the following routes would be closed to motorists starting at 11 a.m.:
- Southbound lane of Quezon Boulevard (Quiapo), from A. Mendoza/Fugoso to Plaza Miranda
- Westbound lane of España Boulevard from P. Campa to Lerma Street
Based on an article from Philstar, motorists can take the following alternate routes in the meantime.
- Vehicles from Quezon City using the southbound lane of España Avenue shall turn right to P Campa St., then take a left to A. Mendoza St., right to Fugoso St., and a turn left to Rizal Ave. or turn left to Nicanor Reyes St., turn right to CM Recto Ave. to point of destination.
Meanwhile, vehicles that intend to utilize Quezon Blvd. coming from A. Mendoza St. can turn right to Fugoso, and left to Rizal Ave.
