Former actress Gretchen Barretto shared a throwback photo with Kapamilya star Bea Alonzo on her Instagram story.
Back in 2010, the two celebrities worked together in one TV project. It was a teleserye titled Magkaribal. Gretchen played the role of Anna Abella/Victoria Valera while Bea’s character was Angela Abella/Gelai Agustin.
In the said series, they were sister but an unfortunate event happened during their childhood that led to their separation. As grown-ups, they became rivals in the fashion industry without initially knowing that the same blood runs in their veins. The focus of the story circulated on that plot.
Through that TV series on primetime, Gretchen and Bea was able to develop the bond of friendship between them. The latter still calls the former as “Ate” until now even though that series ended almost a decade ago.
Gretchen Barretto, apparently, is still treating Bea Alonzo as her younger sister. It can be recalled that the older celebrity took the side of the Kapamilya star when the issue involving Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson surfaced.
When Bea shared her controversial “ENOUGH” post, Greta reacted and said, “I love you my dearest one”. That issue became of the controversial topics on social media and showbiz circles last year.

As 2020 comes, Greta appeared to be showing the same love that she has for the Kapamilya actress. She shared a throwback photo with Bea on her Instagram story. Her caption was “Throwback Magkaribal”.
