Two Girls In Laguna Drowned In Lake After Chased By Dog

LAGUNA – Two young girls were drowned in a lake after being chased by a dog in the municipality of Los Baños in Laguna province.

In GMA News’ Balitambayan, the girls were identified as Haica Mae Española, aged 11 years old, and Jhana Belae, aged 9 years old. Both were found dead upon discovery.

According to their companions, they were going to swim at the shallow areas of the lake, but the two suddenly jumped on the deeper side because they were chased by a dog.

Based on the report, the local officials are set to discuss on preventing anyone from swimming in the lake, which is said to be 70 feet deep or more.

Previously, the province earlier faced another incident where a attempted to stop a robbery at a Chinese mini mart in the city of Biñan.

Armed suspects made a robbery at the aforementioned mini mart in the city of Biñan in the said province.

A CCTV camera shows that the officer charged the robber who was pointing a gun at and attempted to remove the gun from his hand but was unfortunately outnumbered when two more masked men came.
