Security Guard Attempted To Foil A Robbery In Laguna
LAGUNA – A security guard bravely attempted to stop a robbery at a Chinese mini mart in the city of Biñan, Laguna province.
According to GMA News, armed suspects made a robbery at the aforementioned mini mart in the city of Biñan in the said province.
A CCTV camera from the store shows that one of the masked men pointed a gun immediately at the security guard assigned to guard the mini mart.
However instead of retreating, the officer charged the robber and attempted to remove the gun from his hand. He was unfortunately outnumbered when two more masked men came.
Biñan City Police chief Police Lieutenant Colonel Danilo Mendoza said that there were police officers that conducted a patrol at that time. The moment the officers left the premises, the robbers began to rob the mini mart.
“May police na nag-conduct ng patrol at that time. Siguro pinalampas lang o nagkataoon lang na walang pulis doon tsaka lang sila nagkaroon ng robbery holdap doon sa isang store,”
Based on the report, Mendoza further said that the police will issue a more thorough investigation on the incident and asked the management for cooperation.
“Hindi sila nagsusumbong. . . . Nag conduct na tayo ng investigation at may mga persons of interest na rin tayo dito na baka sakali ma-solve natin itong kaso,”
