For Irene, the Jollibee opening on Germann Road in Chandler, Arizona is not just about food. She said it brought back good memories of her childhood in the Philippines.

“It’s like a reunion even if you don’t know anybody,” she said.

Although Irene’s home was close to the opening of the Jollibee branch its just 10 minutes away, she made sure she was the first in line to open it. The highly anticipated new restaurant is scheduled to open at 7 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 28, based on the article of AZCentral.
