Woman Arrested In Caloocan City For Kidnapping A 3-Year-Old Child
CALOOCAN CITY – A woman, aged 27 years, was arrested in Barangay 31, Caloocan City for attempting to kidnap a 3-year-old child.
A report from ABS-CBN states that the aforementioned child’s uncle testified that he saw the woman grabbing the child outside his home.
“Kinuha niya tapos naglakad papalayo buti nabawi namin bata,”
Witnesses also testified that they chased and caught the suspect and took her to the barangay hall. They aimed to talk to the suspect. However, the suspect pretended that she has mental problems and even undressed herself .
According to Captain Jose Mercado, this is, by far, the second incident where someone attempted to kidnap a child and when caught, act like he or she has mental problems.
Based on the report, Mercado further urged the parents to take good care and protect their child or children.
The woman was further taken to the local Philippine National Police (PNP) and will be filed complaint against for kidnapping.
