Roselle shared that her flight with another airline was canceled and so she went to the Philipppine Airlines (PAL) to take her chances of booking another flight. At the ticketing office, Roselle was assisted by Sir Nic Santos Jr. Luckily, there was a seat available for an afternoon flight back to her hometown.

But unfortunately for her, the airline only accepted cash and she didn’t have enough on hand. Roselle was starting to feel helpless but Sir Nic didn’t hesitate to help her.

Sir Nic offered his own money to purchase Roselle her ticket. He only asked that the passenger send back the money through his personal bank account.

According to Roselle, Sir Nic even made a joke: “He jokingly said, ‘Ma’am, padala n’yo po talaga ‘yan ha kasi pambayad po namin ng kuryente at tubig ‘yan.’”

The airline earned praise for their employee’s random act of kindness. Roselle thanked Sir Nic and said she will never forget the experience.

She said, “I mean, that is helping a passenger/client way beyond what is expected from front-liners like him. Who would be kind and trusting enough to do that but only an employee who exemplifies ‘The Heart of a Filipino.’”

” I will never forget this po and I will never forget your kindness, Sir Nic. May God bless you po,” she told the kind airlines employee.

It is truly believed that there are kind and generous people out there that are willing to help without any hesitation. They may be rare to find but you will eventually encounter them in time of needs.
