Sen. Manny Pacquiao Gets His Bachelors Degree Today
MANNY PACQUIAO – Fighting Senator, Manny Pacquiao is on his way to finally get his college Degree today at the University of Makati (UMAK).
The boxing and Philippine sports icon will receive his bachelor’s degree in public administration today, December 11, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. However, Pacquiao already has plans after getting his degree.
According to an article from the Manila Times, the Senator had plans to enroll himself at Harvard to get his mater’s degree. The Senator enrolled in UMAK back in 2008.
However, due to certain events, he wasn’t able to continue studying because he got busy. As per the article, Pacquiao said that he studied really hard for his degree.
With regard to the possibility of him going for a higher position in Philippine politics, the Senator simply said that he placed his fate in God. However, Pacquiao had previously stated that he didn’t have any plans to go for a higher post.
Based on the article from Pilipino Star Ngayon, Arnold Vegafria, the business manager of Manny Pacquiao revealed that there are many people who are convincing the boxer/politician to run for president. However, Pacman has no final decision yet regarding this matter in his political career.
“Hindi niya pa iniisip ‘yun. Well, maraming nag-e-encourage. Pero ang lagi niyang sinasabi, ‘in God’s will,” Pacman’s business manager shared. Vegafria added that Manny also received several movie offers abroad, based on the article.
Adding to his list of accomplishments, Pacquiao is also set to star in a big Hollywood movie. Pacquiao’s upcoming movie “Freedom Fighters” is a multimillion-dollar project. He’ll be co-producing the movie with Inspire Studio’s Francis Ho.
The project would also make history as the very first Hollywood-Philippines movie production made for global release. It is also the biggest budgeted Pinoy-made movie.
