Husband Of Abducted Woman Grabs Attention Of Police
HUSBAND OF ABDUCTED WOMAN – The husband of the Chinese woman that was abducted in Makat City is being seen as a person of interest by the Police.
According to the authorities, the woman was identified as Zhou Mei. Her husband was also known to be as Chen Tanfbilin.
Makati City Police Major Gideon Ines stated that there were a lot of inconsistencies with the husband’s stories. He added that Zhou Mei was with his friend who could possibly be inside the van as well.

Meanwhile, Makati Police chief Colonel Rogelio Simon noted that the victim’s husband gave inconsistent answers. He added that they’ve been questioning him repeatedly but the husband kept changing the details.
According to a report from GMA, here are some of the possible motives of the kidnapping. Ines mentioned that the husband was silent when asked if he knew the possible abductors of her wife.
In addition, Ines said that they are doing a probe of the couple’s personal life to determine if there were other motives involved. “Ang profile kasi nitong victim is a manager of an offline gaming company and then meron din siyang boss, ‘yun ‘yung may capability na magbibigay talaga, Ines said.
However, Simon emphasized that a person of interest is not considered as a suspect of the crime just yet. Recently, the police stated that the incident could not be considered kidnapping as there was no ransom involved.
