PH Karateka Gold Medalist Junna Tsukii Says She Was Bullied By Coach
JUNNA TSUKII – The Philippines’ gold medalist for Karateka expressed sadness instead of celebrating after winning a gold medal.
The Karateka athlete went to Facebook to thank her fans and supporters. However, she couldn’t help but express her sadness.
In her post, she explained that even after winning her gold, she was still in a state of gloom. The post details how her coach was bullying her even after her victory.
Thank you so much for supporting and cheering me today🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭❤️I’m really happy to win a gold medal at the second Sea Games in my country🥇✨
But now I’m very sad, even I have gold medal.

At today we had team meeting after our game, and during that meeting head coach call names of all the players who played today and he said that “congrats” “I proud of you” to them, but he never said my name and he didn’t look my face.

She explained that she had been ignored ever since she came back from a tournament in Madrid. Tsukii added that she put off with being ignored because she didn’t want to confuse her team.
However, it seemed like she had enough during their latest team meeting. She expressed that she was bullied in front of her whole team.
“Why you didn’t call my name? I also played today” and he said me that “Because you are not part of the team, that’s why your medal is not for this team or not for this country.

And for me you are dead, that’s why I can’t see you because you are dead”
However, a lot of people came up to her and showed overwhelming support. In an interview with ABS-CBN, she stated that she now felt better.
Reporters have tried to contact Karate Pilipinas. However, they said that they would talk to Junna and her coach before making an official statement.
