Graduate Who Does a Lot of Jobs to Finish Studies Now Become Top 7 in LET
A graduate who formerly works as a factory worker, vendor, Guard, Houseboy, Janitor, Baker, Service Crew at Tutor and now become a top 7 in Licensure Exam for Teachers.
Nowadays, lots of children in the Philippines are out of school youth due to poverty. However, some of them are diligent to finish their studies despite lack of financial assistance and support of their parents.
That was the investment of the former “Rakitero” Abzonie Mendoza-Barotac Reño who was included in the Top 10 with just the result of the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET). Abzonie was the top-7 among those who scored highest on the secondary level exam to become a fully licensed teacher.
His heartfelt thanks to those who supported him until he reaches his dreams. Even before he achieved this success, it was a very long rough road and hard work for him to finish his studies.
He also shared that he reached to the point of discontinuing his 7-year education due to severe poverty. He try his luck in Manila, where he entered various jobs.
He worked as a factory worker, baker, security guard, service crew, tutor and even as a janitor and houseboy, to help his mother was a laundress and to support his four sisters.
Abzonie is also the first Summa Cum Laude in his school he attends the Caraga State University – Ampayon Butuan City campus in the course of Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education Major in Math.
