Australian Vendor Selling Street Foods in Lipa City Goes Viral
An Australian vendor selling siomai burger, palamig, and other Filipino delicacies goes viral after it was posted on social media.
A Facebook user named Rio Rivera has shared the photos of an Australian national selling street foods at a night market in Lipa City. The foreign entrepreneur is selling siomai burger, palamig, and other delicacies.
The foreign vendor has been identified as Adam Barry, a resident of Adelaide, Australia. Barry choose to live in the Philippines together with his Filipina wife named ‘Cherry’ after his retirement.
Barry worked as an aircraft engineer in a famous airline company or 24 years but decided to file an early retirement to start and enjoy the rest of his life together with Cherry, a former Overseas Filipino worker.
“No regrets at all coming to the Philippines. The life we have here, the cats, the food cart, it’s a good life,” Barry said.
Cherry who worked as a former OFW in Malaysia said that she met Barry at a certain dating site. She also expressed her admiration for her hard-working husband.
“Iba po siya. Masipag po siya, tinutulungan ako sa bahay, tapos kapag may problema, pinag-uusapan namin,” Cherry said.
The customers were also amazed after seeing a foreigner selling street foods at a night market, which is very rare.
