Previously, he went viral for claiming that he was the reason the earthquakes in Mindanao stoped. Adding to this, he also had a run-in with Kapamilya star, Vice Ganda.

The comedian challenged Quiboloy to stop the traffic that has plagued Manila. In addition, Vice challenged him to stop FPJ’s “Ang Probinsyano” as well.

This time, the pastor made another controversial claim. People from all over the country were quick to pounce on Quiboloy after Typhoon Tisoy hit the Philippines.

Netizens were asking him why didn’t he stop the onslaught of the Typhoon. However, the pastor had an answer to their queries.

According to him, the reason why he didn’t stop Typhoon Tisoy was because of his “bashers”. The pastor went to Facebook and uploaded a video explaining why he didn’t stop Tisoy.

Kasi ‘yung ini-stop ko ‘yung earthquake, nagalit man sila. Binash ako nang napakarami. So baka i-stop ko ‘yung bagyo, baka magalit na naman

This was followed by the Pastor claiming that he didn’t know what to do. He said that if he stopped it, people would get mad, and if he didn’t people would still get mad.

Following this, the Pastor claimed that instead of making the Typhoon stop, he prayed that the Typhoon would just pass. Aside from this, he said that he would just help those hit by the earthquakes and typhoons.

Ang hindi ma-stop diyan, ‘yung tulong namin, sa ating mga kababayan. Kasi panata ko ‘yun, sa mga maka-langit
