WORK SUSPENSION – The Supreme Court announced the suspension of work in all courts throughout the National Capital Region.

On Tuesday (December 3, 2019), Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta has ordered the suspension of work in all NCR courts including Metro Manila starting 12:00 pm due to the inclement weather condition brought by Typhoon Tisoy.

The SC Public Information Office (PIO) said that the work cancellations covers the Supreme Court (SC), the Court of Appeals, the Court of Tax Appeals, the Sandiganbayan, and all lower courts in the National Capital Judicial Region.

Earlier, several local government units, schools, and universities have already suspended the classes in different areas due to the effects of Typhoon Kammuri, which is lashing the country with violent winds and intermittent rains.

The state weather bureau PAGASA has already placed Camarines Sur, Albay, Camarines Norte, Masbate including Ticao and Burias Islands, Romblon, the southern part of Quezon, Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Lubang Island, Batangas, Cavite and Laguna under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No.3.

Meanwhile, TCWS No.2 has been raised over Metro Manila and several provinces.
