Lani Mercado Shares Details Of Son Jolo Revilla & Angelica Alita’s Upcoming Wedding
LANI MERCADO – Actress-turned-politician Lani Mercado shared some details of her son Jolo Revilla and Angelica Alita’s wedding.
In May 2019, beauty queen Angelica Alita was spotted wearing a ring on some of her photos with her partner Jolo Revilla. The engagement rumors were followed by the wedding buzz.
Jolo confirmed that he is set to marry the former Binibining Pilipinas 2016 1st runner-up in December. He revealed the news on his Instagram account in September. However, he didn’t’ reveal the exact date or venue but said: “I can’t last a day without you… can’t wait until December!”
Recently, Jolo Revilla’s mom Lani Mercado finally disclosed some details of her son’s upcoming wedding. Based on a report from PUSH, she said Jolo and Angelica Alita’s wedding will be held at Pelican Hill in California, USA.
The mayor in Bacoor said their whole family will be leaving the country on December 6 to witness their son’s wedding. “It’s a Christian wedding. This will be the first male na may ikakasal akong anak kasi yung una was si Inah na may tatlong apo na ako. Well, this is something different kasi sa labas ng bansa. Napaka-hectic and this the first time also na magbabakasyon kami nang buo with Bong’s brothers and sisters. It’s the first time na buong pamilya nandoon kami,” she said.
According to the report, both Jolo Revilla and Angelica Alita decide to have their wedding abroad. “Sila ang nag-decide. Parang idol talaga ni Jolo si papa niya, kasi di ba, ang unang kasal namin was in the States, pero that was very solemn, very simple. Ito, he opted to do in the States,” Lani said.
Based on the report, Lani Mercado also disclosed the names of the principal sponsors of Jolo and Angelica’s wedding. She said most of the “ninongs” and “ninangs” were politicians.
“We fixed the guest lists yesterday, ang alam kong pupunta ay sina Mayor Inday Sara (Duterte), Cong. Martin Romualdez, ninong si Sen. Jinggoy (Estrada), ninong din niya si Sen. Manny Pacquiao pero may proxy siya na pupunta,” she said.
