LIST: Organizers Reveals Items Prohibited In SEA Games Venues
SEA GAMES – The organizers recently released a list of items that will be prohibited within the venues for the 30th SEA Games.
The 30th Souutheast Asian Games is set to open on November 30 (Saturday). The sport event will have delegates from 11 countries in the Southeast Asian region.
According to Inquirer, The Philippines is tasked to be the host of this biennial event for the fourth time. Selected sports have begun earlier on November 25 (Monday).
The event’s official Facebook page recently released a list of the following items that are prohibited inside the venues of the Southeast Asian Games:
- Bottles, cups, and cans (glass, tetra pack, PET, hard material)
- Large bulky objects (items too large to be placed under the seats)
- Video camera (any audiovisual recording device used for non-personal)
- Camera extenders (selfie stick, tripod, bipod)
- Animals (pet and non-pet)
- Drones
- Outside food and beverages
- Pyrotechnic materials (fireworks, flares, matches, lighters, cigarettes)
- Large banners (including flags exceeding 3 feet x 5 feet)
- Flag poles (exceeding one meter)
- Propaganda (containing racist, xenophobic, charity, ideological causes)
- Flammable objects (spray gas cans, corrosive material)
- Sharp objects (umbrella, long sticks)
- Possible projectiles (sports equipment)
- Noise-making items (air horns, drums, whistles, bugles, vuvuzelas)
- Weapons and firearms (guns, knives)
- Stimulants (alcohol, drugs, narcotics)
- Laser pointers
