SEA Games Delegates Say Past Problems Will Become Non-Existent
SEA GAMES Delegates – According to the delegates for the 2019 South Ease Asian Games, problems faced by organizers in the past will become non-existent at the New Clark City.
The organizers are confident and proud of the world-class accommodation and facilities of the venue. They added that past complaints like transportation and food will no longer be an issue.
They said that the hotel offers topnotch accommodations. Along with this, it also serves a 24/7 buffet to be enjoyed by the athletes.
During an interview with ABS-CBN, one of the Cambodian delegates, Sim Chantha said that he was impressed with the facilities in the athlete’s village. He said that he loved how he could also go out for fresh air.
Not only the foreign delegates were impressed. The local athletes were also pleased with the accommodation.
They said that they have been training in the facilities for 5 days and have not experienced any problems. This, despite the controversies surrounding the SEA Games.
Each of the rooms for the athletes is good for two-to-three people. It includes amenities like air-conditioning, tv, and are PWD friendly.
The athlete’s village also includes a basketball court, a swimming pool, and a gym for the competitors to practice on. Also, the venue organizer said that they are ready to accommodate 1,800 athletes.
The Chefs also boast their world-class cuisine available 24/7. They promised that they would deliver the best that they can for the athletes.
Adding to this, all of the food they are serving is halal certified. There is also a food safety team that ensures the quality of the food.
