Class Suspension Declared In These Areas on Thursday (November 21)

WALANG PASOK – Class Suspension has been declared by several local government units in different areas due to Tropical Storm Sarah.

Over the past few days, Typhoon Ramon severely affects the weather condition in the country resulting to flash floods and landslides in different areas. Ramon has already weakened from a typhoon into a severe tropical storm.

However, the state weather bureau PAGASA is now monitoring Tropical Storm “Sarah” and a low-pressure that would bring an inclement weather condition over some parts of the Philippines.

Class Suspension

Last week, different schools and universities also suspended the classes due to the bad weather condition.

Recently, several local government units have declared the cancellation of classes in different areas due to the inclement weather brought by the combined effect of Tropical Storm Sarah and a low-pressure area.

The LGU’s declared the class suspensions to ensure the safety of the students from any possible danger that might cause by the storm.

Here is the list of areas covered by the cancellation of classes:

Cagayan Valley

  • Amulung, Cagayan (Day Care to Senior High school, Public and Private)
  • Appari, Cagayan -(All Levels, Public and Private)
  • Buguey, Cagayan  – (All Levels, Public and Private)
  • Pamplona, Cagayan – (All Levels, Public and Private)
  • Gonzaga, Cagayan – (All Levels, Public and Private)
  • Calumpit, Bulacan
