Ethel Booba comments on Php 50 million cauldron.
ETHEL BOOBA – The comedienne and singer Ethel Booba has this comment about the controversial “Kalderong Ginto” or the Php 50 million cauldron.
The cauldron worth Php 50 million has created so much buzz online where most people think it was way too much and the money used for it could be use of help for other sectors and to might address to other problems of the country. The design was from late National Artist for Architecture Francisco Mañosa.
The millions of worth cauldron would be used for 2019 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games where the President Duterte defended and said that there could never be a corruption because it was commissioned from a national artist.
“You cannot estimate how much nalugi ka (you lost) because it’s the rendition of the mind of the creator. Kung ‘yan singil niya sabihin niya ‘wag mo bilhin kung ayaw mo. ‘Yan ang presyo ko (If that is the price he is asking for, he will say don’t get it if you don’t like my price),” he furthered.
This has recently trended online as the “Kalderong Ginto” and Ethel Booba, as her reaction, wrote in a Tweet, “Sulit ang cauldron kung corrupt officials ang gagawing pang gatong sa apoy. Charot!”
