Recently, the water distributor Maynilad Water Services Inc. announced that the Far Eastern University (FEU) has the best toilet in the Philippines. FEU is the winner of this year’s Golden Kubeta Awards.
FEU, which was founded by Dr. Nicanor Reyes in 1928 topped the schools and universities category and won the People’s Choice Award. The country’s leading university win the award after earning over 10,000 social media votes.
Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange in the terminals and stations category, National Museum of Natural History (government offices), and Xentro Mall Polangui (malls and restaurants) also joined the circle of winners together with FEU.
Maynilad’s Golden Kubeta Awards aims to raise awareness about proper waste management. The awarding program has been done to encourage business establishments and other companies to make clean and comfortable public restrooms.
