HUNGRY SYRIAN WANDERER – A viral post about a 68 year old elder working at a gasoline station caught the eye of Hungry Syrian Wanderer.

According to KAMI, a netizen named Kewol Oro posted a photo on November 15. It shows the said elder who is currently working at Shell TS Cruz.

Oro urged the public to add extra tip to the elder, identified as Tatay “Bro” Boy, should he be the one to pump air. Oro added that Tatay Boy resigned 2 years ago but he occasionally come to the station to receive tips from the people he helped.

The post gained at about 58K reactions, mostly likes, hearts, and wows.

This caught the attention of Syrian YouTuber named Basel Manadil, who is also known as the Hungry Syrian Wanderer.

Basel visited the station where Tatay Boy works, which to his surprise, was near to where he lives.

Basel came to the station as a customer who want to have his tire checked. Tatay Bro was assigned to pump air on tires.

Based on the report, the Syrian vlogger observed the elder and said that he was already tired and frail yet he continued to work, which made Basel shed tears.

He then had a talk with Tatay Bro while the elder pumped air on the tire of his car.

Basel later found out that Tatay Bro have been working at a gasoline station for 47 years and seldom visits the station to earn tips until the management brought him back to work in the air pump area.

Tatay Bro was surprised when Basel gave him ₱1,000 per tire for the tip.
